Payment Methods and Your Insurance
Dr. Shaw’s friendly staff strives to provide as much help as possible. The front office staff is specially trained to assist parents with scheduling appointments and insurance billing. As a service to our patients, we will collect the estimated patient’s portion from you and file your insurance for you. We can only estimate your coverage but cannot guarantee coverage. Your coverage is determined by your plan, not Dr. Shaw’s fees. If you have questions about coverage, please call your insurer. Upon request, we would be happy to request a pre-estimate of coverage. This gives you an accurate idea of what your plan covers. You are ultimately responsible for whatever your insurer does not pay.
A variety of insurance policies are accepted. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are all welcome. We do not accept Medicaid or Salud.
